A background in design and later an MBA has helped Cecilia combine human-centric design and business strategy with enterprise-wide leadership for progressive methods to create sustainable change, empower colleagues, lead and inspire followership both internally and externally. It has further helped her connect six disciplines over a 20 year period while contributing to the LEGO Group’s turnaround to become the most powerful brand in the world* and the world’s most trusted brand in CSR**. Consequently, it has given Cecilia a unique perspective on transformation, change and sustainable growth.
Cecilia’s interest in D&I is derived from a deep curiosity to fuel the creative process through exposure to diverse cultures, backgrounds and perspectives. In her most recent role at the LEGO Group, Cecilia has had the opportunity to innovate and rethink enterprise approach to Diversity and Inclusion and lead the strategy to build a diverse organisation with a unique sense of belonging to reach and inspire every child in the world with LEGO play experiences.
Beyond work, Cecilia is a trustee of the National Saturday Club, on the International Advisory Board of HEC Paris, and the health-tech start-up Nexleaf Analytics. Creatively, she now focuses on music production and publishes under the artist name Oxime. Cecilia received her Product Design BA from Central Saint Martins in 2001 and her TRIUM Executive MBA from HEC Paris, NYU Stern and the London School of Economics in 2012.
